(battle engine syntax: f)
trigger_kill it modifies LP by -5000 of 2 ships of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in class 3, there are no known ships and buildings that survive this effect.

made a few significant changes as I thought this ship out more. I would like to keep the name Intergalactic Inferno thou... wasn't sure how to update the needed changes...
changed it from attacking both fleets to only the enemy fleet.
changed it from a hit variable to a kill variable.
and raised the LP a bit more.
Took the overall average of 2 ships killed from class 3 and it averaged 244mp lost... but since there was so many small mp ships in class 3 I lowered the needed mp for this ship a bit to offset the difference. |

So because of the 120 lp you get to shoot once taking out an enemy cruiser, then getting destroyed so you take out two enemy cruisers in which you make 50 points That's the first thing that came up to me. Not sure what else to say, are there any specifik situations you would want this ship for? _________________

Interesting ship. Talk about your class 3 killer except plasma gunship fleets. You can make some serious points against those dreadnoughts. I'd be interested in trying this ship out. It appears to be balanced. _________________ Capt |

I raised the LP to 120 just slightly above what it would need for a cruiser to kill. Only if the ship is killed it takes out 2 of the enemy class 3 ships.
The reason for the creation of this ship is for multiple reasons.
1. To bring an element of surprise into the class 3 battle
2. The Human race needed something else in class 3 but could also be considered for erays as well.
3. An alternative class 3 killer other then just the plasma gun ship. |

The fatal flaw in this the is probably that the target stack has no counter availible to prevent the action of this ship with either a direct or indirect kill (exception, total exclusion of c3 or just using one c3 or a c3 nano-virus). Beside human counters to the ps gs and other c3 incude: cruisers/hammer/cluster cruisers, destroyers, holo clones, pirate ships, troikas, evaps + kamis (the ultimate human c3/c4 killer ), fighters, blockade runners, and lol about every other ship availlible to humans, even kazu have numerous ways to kill thier own ps gs. stacks _________________ "Hello, my friends, are you visible today? I don't like it...building a ship purposely just so that it can get killed in battle?
Sounds a bit dumb to me. Wouldn't see that on Star Wars would you?

Breon, if you use dreads against plasma gun ships you are going to loose a lot of points. 5 dreads vs 5 plasma gun ships: worst case scenario is I loose 5 plasma gun ships and you loose 4 dreads.
I loose:
5*92= 460 points
You loose
4*375= 1500 points _________________

AL12 yip thats my point. basically thats the same in todays game plasma destroys dreadnought for the most part depending on fleet setup. Big point differnetial. This ship would be no different if it destroys 2 enemy ships in class 3. In an unusal situation I guess it could knock out 2 dreads. _________________ Capt |

Very good ship if used especially in large fleet encounters and Yes unless the Vong adapted to be only tech you wouldn't see this ship used by most of the factions in Star Wars. _________________ Always watch your back or else .
