I just joined the community and I hope I will like it here. First of all, "hi everybody" : )

okay the questions... : )
1.what do I do with score?
2.Score aka points? I sow in the forum some people say points, is it another name for score?
3.Can I colonize new planets? If I can, How?
4.Can I raise the population on my planet? If I can, How?
5. What is the goal of the game?
6.What can i get from attacking players?

1. Score just determines your place and how good you are at this game.
2. Points are the same as score
3. You can put your shipyard on pre-warp planets. Thats the closest you can get to colonizing.
4. You can raise the population but only by 10% read about clone labs in the manual
5. The goal is to get points
6.you can get points or lose points from attacking players.

1.Get into tyhe top ten or have a real bad score and dont tell anyone.

5.Win points by making good fleet combos.Making friends meeting new people.

Do I need man power only for ships? Or maybe I need it for somthing like building too? should I invest all my man power right from the start into ships?
what combos(race: nanite) would you suggest for a n00b ? : )

Manpower is only used for ships.
I personally like Mycilloid, but all the races are balanced so it really only matters for your style of play. So just go with something random.

Well for nanite some nice combos are appolos and cyclopses.Troikas lots of them.Destroyers and mobile repair bots.Just for starters but you have to research DSP probe so you know what your enemy has you cant just build a fleet and go and attack some one you need to know what they might have at there base first.It will take a bit of time to get the hang of it but its a really cool game so enjoy

yeah, manpower is only used 4 ships. in addition. wen ships r destroyed in battle, or wen u recycle them in ur shipyard, u get all the manpower 4 them back. because of these 2 things u shudnt really hav any reason 4 not wanting 2 hav all ur manpower used up. build as many ships as u can. good hunting!

for kazuula,

there is a nice combo: eagles and wasps ( 3 times more eagles then wasps apporx. ) and also some emp-vessels and shield-generators are nice. But just a few.

and kazuula's have the opportunity to make some nice micelloids ( interseptor/penguin/mosquitoe combo )

and u can always use some usefull e-ray ships:

-doomstar = blows up itself, all enemy and all of your own c1, c2 and c3. So if u send in this one together with 1 fighter, 1 destroyers, 1 cruiser and a mothership u can make monsterkill.
But try a dsp first. cause otherwise u end up killing 1 fighter and losing over 2300 points.

- plasma gunships. can be used in big variations of combo's. blow up one c3 ship. very usefull.

- shadow star. dont let enemie see u are coming. it cloakes itself and the rest of the fleet.

- holo ships and especially shield generators are usefull. also useable in loads of combo's.


The best tip: Try, be defeated a few times, learn from it. U get experienced by playing, not by talking.

Well to start off with Welcome To SpaceTrace.
Somethings you must note:

* No Other Accounts

Now some fleets well to start off with i would try and research Apollos Cyclops and Plasmas those are some of your main ships.

A good fleet plan then is:
18 Cyclops
15 Plasma
1 Mothership
and as many apollos you can build with what you have left also try and build yourself a 1 1 1 defence at your base :
1 FIGHTER
1 DESTROYER
1 CRUISER

Now to start with the basic ships may i suggest:
1800 Fighters
200 Destroyers
10 Cruisers
2 Motherships
and if you have any man power left use that then to build yourself a 111 like i mentioned above and maybe if you have any left some more class 1 or class 2.

If you need to know how to kill certain fleets just pop into IRC sometime im sure i or someone else could help you out. And Try and read the manual at somepoint. And welcome again to SpaceTrace.

Hey Star. U forgot that Kazuula's cant build appolo's. He asked about nice start offs for kazuula, and what are nice combo's to try later as u researched some kazuula and eray and micelloid stuff.

But your start off fleet is nice Star.

So janneman, u can possibly start with the thing Star suggested. Just a nice fleet balanced with both c1, c2 and c3. And a ms offcourse.

And later on, we mentioned tons of combo's u can use

Thankyou William.
Lets have another think then well research you DSP(DEEP SCAN PROBE)
then if you know if someone has only a few class 1 and 2
and just wanna figh there class 3 just put in with ur fleet 1 fighter and 1 destoryer then your class 1 battle will end and class 2 with out attacking your class 3 living theres vunreable.

To destory empty bases use Penguins, Kamis or for stadards
73 Cruisers if they have a DA u will lose against DA and score about 960 but in future everytime you atack that empty base 1000 points each time.

only with clone labs. but that sucks. if u wanna know that, search the manual for clone labs. I dont recommend u research it, cause u cant make it undone

What is the advantage to move your shipyard, and is it really only your shipyard or also r.centre, d.array etc.
