why does it cost 1500 points when you BUILD it ? shouldn't it be 1500 points when it is destroyed ?? |

sure. the player who destroyes the mobile TWG gets the points for it. yourself also, if you destroy it yourself. but if the last player leaves the alliance, it will be destroyed, because noone is controling it anymore. in this casee noone would get points for it. |

it has 1500 MP but no player has to bring them up, they are workers of the alliance, that run the mobile TWG so these manpower is extra.
the Commander of War only pays the 1500 points in advance as investment for the whole alliance |

Ok so I pay the 1500 points (as if I lost a space battle for that much) and now have the MTWG, do all members of my alliance now move faster? or just I as the leader of the alliance move faster? how do I deploy this gate once I decide to build it, or is it automatic an all movement after construction?
ALSO:
if I have 2 or more fleets do each benifit even if going to differant locations?

all members of your alliance that are flying from one transwarp gate to another ( for example the mobile one) move faster

it is commanded like a regular fleet, send it to any coords you wish, once it will reach its destination it is fully operational for your alliance members.
but you can send it at any time to any location.

a fleet can only benefit if it is moving from one gate to another ( but if so all fleets benefit ) |

So does it travel to a destination at normal ship speed of warp 5, or probe speed Warp 10, and can you send it through your own transwarp network to an allies destination at warp 15? |

Warp 4? ouch... Is it possible to send it with a Jump ship of some type to get it there faster, or send it with a cloaking ship to arrive safely? |

warp 4 is its travel speed, that is fast enough, the twg is designed to etablish a beachhead in a distant area.
it is not designed to travel always faster.
it is more a strategical than a tactical tool. |

Yes but as a possible target you would need to send a beach head to protect the "Beach Head"
Not a good deal. Not if it could cost me 3000 points, 1500 for building and 1500 to the target when I loose it for inadiquit protection.

you won't lose another 1500 points ( it is pre-payed )
and it is a class 4 vehicle. |

What I mean by the 1500 to the target is that he/she would grab 1500 points I could have recovered later when I recycled the gate. It would cost me in the long run 3000 points to lose this gate in a battle.
