tech probe

this probes purpose is to scan for a any signs of possible useful technology on pre-warp worlds. it then documents what planet has what technology in its scanned area and reports it back to hq.

speed: warp 10

researchtime: 2 h
buildtime: 4h

You'd have to send a fleet, the probe just finds it.

Why did someone vote i will post the needed changes, and no one posted any changes?...
and awesome souce:
Awesome Sauce

Ingredients:
· 2 lbs lean ground beef
· 3 cans of tomatoes
· 1 small tin of tomato paste
· 4 cloves of garlic
· 2 medium onions
· 2 tbsp of oregano
· 1 tbsp of basil
· 3 whole cloves
· 1 large bay leaf
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with spices, onions, and garlic.
2. Add the tomato's and bay leaf.
3. Let the sauce simmer covered for at least three (3) hours.
4. Remove the lid and add the tomato paste to thicken.
5. Serve over any pasta.

I think the conventional Send a fleet is enough good.
Don't really need this but interesting idea

So you have to send a fleet to a planet, in many cases that you have no idea wether it has technology or not, the probe is faster, and can scan more then one planet at a time. I think this is very useful over sending a conventinal fleet.

The probe isn't faster. It travels with warp 5. Just like a mothership or a flying saucer.

It would tell you what planets they are at, and the coords of the planet. And it should travel at warp 10 i think
