i invented this ship because i think it's a good idea to have a ship that can jam class1 and 2 during a class 1 fight.
i forgot to give it the
'fight'
ability
i think it should have it, although there is plenty of time for a class 3 ship to act during a class 2 fight^^
maybe it should have more mp. if a multi-emp-vessel jams 3 destroyer it jams 24 mp for the cost of 12 mp
my ship can jam 100 fighter = 100 mp and 20 destroyer = 160
that's 260 mp
so it jams 260 mp for 130 mp, it's both 2:1
but mine is class 3 so i think it should cost a little bit more |

it's not useless
think of a fleet
10 emp cruiser
5 plasma gunships
1 mothership
the trick in useing this ship is making it fight against the enemy class1
here the fleet jams the enemy class1 and class2 and scores against class3
think of combining it with swank fleets it's really strong there
but if the enemy has retraitors pray for ur ships, so i think this ship is balanced
making this ship a class1 would be far to strong |

FIrst because is mmm, USELESS
Second, because the description says just fighters and destroyers and the syntax says somehting diferent
And third because is too stron, 130 mp? WTH! |

i don't think it's pointless in fact i think it's an original idea
having a class 3 emp ship that is able to deal with a direct class 1 attack but loosing vs normal cruisers
maybe u get irritated because in the description destroyer and fighter, i mean fighter class (class1) and destroyer class (class2) ship
if u don't see the ships point so be it but please stop flaming against it
let's the vote decide if it's gameworthy or not
i think it's a good idea for a kazuuula ship, coz it's it's something new
and coz it does not kill anything i think it's not overpowered, only the mp maybe still to low, but let that descision to the players and admins
(have a look at my comparison to the multi-emp-vessle) |

Certainly i was a bit irritated.
Sorrry about it, next time you have to put the class and not the ships. Because is a BIG diference between fighters and all class 1.
I know you said it before, but it dosnt matter if you said it. If you know that this is wrong make a new one. You cant just modified it here, but, yes, you can listen some suggestions
Nope, the games worthy is not that you can vote, is just a factorof pressure on the admin, and believe me, this is true. If you vote it dosnt mean ANYTHING the admin always has the last word
Is hard to compaire this with a multi emp vessels. We have already a ship that can jam another ships at class 3.
So i think is not exactly a new version of the another vessels.(Added or not the name should be changed This is another ships wich you can use in ocmbination with the swank fleet. And that's why it shouldnt be added in my opinion(i dont want towrite so much!!!)The swank fleet could be used in almost all the races(i think all of them!)This just will make the swank fleet more powerfull.
As i missunderstood you, and pissed off u, i will apologize suggesting that the ship should be somethink like:
350-500 mp
99 lp or 50 lp Self destruction(wich would be a new total great idea, a SD ship that can jams)
Anyway, even so, someone will find a mistake in my suggestion;) |

there are points where i agree with you and points where i don't
but i have to state here, that i think that u have more knowledge of this game
(refering to Joined: 20 Apr 2003 Posts: 720)
points i agree:
the mp should be higher, but i think 300 or more would be to much
the idea with sd is awesome it would be cool if you suggest a jaming sd in this forum i would love it ^^
maybe swank becomes to strong
pressure on admins maybe your right didn't look at it this way until now

I really started on January of 2003 ingame or maybe before:P
100 class 1(giving pts for other type of class 1)= 110
20 class 2 (hmm DK maybe *10?)=200
200+110=310.
As we know you arent destroying them, so 310 is maybe too much. SO you could say 180-260. But, first we havo to know that making the mp equal will be a battle with 0 pts. So, to make it balanced. 210-290.
Why do i say more than that? Because you just dont attack 1 time, you can attack 3-4 times!!! Besides that, you can build more than 1 and making it a so much powerfull ship.
With a promedy of 250 * 2.5= 625. Because is a class 3 and can be destroyed easily 625/2= 320. But as it could be reconstructed i say 350-400
I have no time to post a ship like that;) And well, ether in this topic cuz i have no credits cuz i am retired for a while;)
It is not a new concept of a vessel cuz it is not similar with a vessel. Lol as i almost never used i dont remember the name but we already have the "dominator"(i think) wich is class 3 and jams class 3.(That's what i ment, a class 3 vessel;) )
PD:Thx about it, and congratulations, at least, i dont know when you started, but not so many people that says somehting in the forum and that its not registred hasnt that level of discussion and so many arguments to defend his/her(yeah right) points;) |

i understand ur point, never thought about it beeing reconstructed
but 350 mp seems a little bit too much
u get a cyclobs for 120 (kill 100 class1)
and 2 apollo for 170 (kill 20 class2)
so u can kill them for 290 mp
therefor i think that jamming them should be a bit cheaper
maybe 250 mp?
maybe we can lower the ship hitpoints to 50 to make it more balanced?
i'm not quite sure what u mean with

Yeah, Rubens is a bit, erm, *ancient*... as I am
If added, this ship will truly bring out the greatness in the retraitor, a not so popular ship (according to stats, it's present in less than 5 fleets atm ), which I've needed and therefore used only once BTW
A swank ship, no doubt... Being kazuula though... Ugh. Means even MORE powerful mycelloid swanks.
I don't think that it should affect fighters and destroyers only (so the syntax shouldn't be changed). One, 'cuz admin really likes basic ships - for a few reasons, most important is - well, newbies usually don't have much choice at the start of the game. And two, most important - it would really s.uck against any other fleet, but a basic.

LOL I am ancient...an ancient with less score in rounds and more in evolution...but i am defender of rounds...LOL..Metody, how the hell can this game change our live for more than hours?
Lets see....thinking about it, i am inlove of my self...a SD ship that can jam will be asome!!!
Ok when dominator with plasma gun ship are good indeed...but if he has low class 2 would be better. As (what i think) the first rule on ST...besides been online that is requirement, the rule is that all depend of the battle situation.
But is indeed a good fleet of large C3 vs standard C3
When i say that it can attack 3-4 times, is that he can attack at class 1, class 2 and class 3.(Well just 3 times, even destroying the C3 ships, just 3 times;) ) In class 3 he can jam more evaporators, and in class 1 and 2 he can jam twice. So i think a large fleet of those jammers. Can jam EVERYTHING, LOL...
Metody and everyone, already said it...too much swank fleet.
As a ship is balanced dude...but used in a combo is too much powerfull;) |
