Actually, I like 12 hrs as well after mulling it over in my head. It really makes no difference as long as the build time is not too short. 12 hrs would work out OK I think.
I can't see any advantage or disadvantage to having 12 or 24 except you can put a player down for 12 h less time. It is a long wait while waiting for 24 hrs to pass then another 12 hrs for ships to build.
That makes 1.5 days before you can get back in the action.
12 hr rebuild time makes 24 hrs pass before you can get back in the action.
2nd thoughts says I like it.
Just don't make it 4 hrs or anything like that because it does impact the game then. |

This thing has never brought any problems , until CGC got 2 of their newbie bases bashed in wartime ! To bad for CGC that both bases are inbetween to of XYZ bases . there hasn't been fleets at their bases camping out for the buildings to show up again and shoot them before they could build ships . I vote 24h less isn't needed cause base defence is also part of this game .
The problem of ST isn't vets bashing noobs like Lilly wants us to believe , but most people like visual games above number games . _________________ Greetz Connor

I have to state that this is indeed a problem... especially with it taking the full 24hrs worth of battle pause needed just to rebuild it... not to mention the additional time needed to build a fleet... changing my vote from 4hrs to 12hrs... |

Look, 8 people have voted 4 hours.. 7 have voted for 24, can't we come to some sort of middle value?
I'm gonna go for 12 hours. That will please as many people as possible and it won't have such a big impact on the game. _________________
