senor is starting to design all ships for spacetrace on his own. like below.
he is making 3D models.
He uses lightwave 3d, blender should work too (free/open source)
is there anybody who is able to help him ? pm him if you think you can help.
all models will be license under creative common license, so it is easy to share and help, and you can be sure that your work is free for others to use.
it would be nice if we find an artist for each race. so the style would be coherent for each race.

i tested blender and did some eray design studies. after some tutorials and some playing around i did this flamingo:

looks good, but i think about mycilloids a bit more dusty and a lot of tentacles too (myceel through space-time) |

i like the green goo, but maybe it should have some metal parts to create contrast. and tentacles would be cool also as admin said. |
