I think he means a fighter with 0.5 ap,lp and mp.
I like it, it weakens the fighter and the interceptor.

But I think that ship would be a new "supership" - imagine you build masses of it and can win against almost any other class 1 ship just because you lose less mp... |

Mmh you could be right, but I think you would have to build twice as many to do the same amount of damage, I think it might make class one interesting again, mosquitoes would be good against it for example. Spectres would still score, just not so much. ditto cyclops. Dont u think class one has become a bit redundant?? |

hm...
Now when I really think of it, the ship actually doesn't seem to be so superior...
The mp/lp/ap relation of the midge is 1/1/1 - just as fighters - so you'd need more midges to destroy enemy ships but they cost less, so that would be no problem (e.g.you could build twice as many midges as fighters, but they have half ap); no advantage, no disadvantage...
It could be okay as a dummy, there you're right Bjork, against "massive class 1 destruction ships"....would be like, say, a 5ap 5lp 4mp ship in class 2...
But then, I agree with Liderant, we'd just go into smaller dimensions...

It is already possible, just look at the battlesyntax of the grazer reactor. Quote: | modifies AP/LP by 0/-1.5 of itself in your own fleet in class 2

And you have also a little thing in PHP4 what is called, Type Juggling so I won't think this could be a problem.
